| Q.
How long has Brillo® been around? |
A. In 1913, Milton
Loeb, a lawyer, was approached by a costume jewelry maker
who had come up with a mixture of soap, jeweler’s
rouge and metal fibers to clean aluminum pans. Loeb set
up a company to manufacture the new product in the early
part of this century, thought of the name "Brillo®"
and the rest is history.
